Experience the Inexperienced

Its not everyday that I step out to watch a movie alone and that too at night - I did it this Sunday. What caused me to go ? I know not . What struck me from the complete movie were a few things - her love for Krishna and faith in Him. His love for Him and his heart-felt one-ness in that song. The fact that kings led their lives completely dedicating their lives for the welfare of their people stuck with me as I came out of the movie - isnt that the spirit of leadership? The very spirit that leaders like Gandhi demonstarted? Isnt that what Ram did when he sent Sita away to appease a washerman? When you step out of your zone and look at others- not just looking - but start observing - you observe a whole new world and attitudes that I think i never observed before. You start learning a whole abt the other person and also abt another important person in life - which is yourself. This not only helps you in being able to identify with what the other person is going through but also through what can be done to ease the person's journey. Its an amzing experience - maybe thsi is what Eckerd mentions in his book 'The power of now" -to watch the watcher - it certainly is enlightening and also entertaining.

Loads in mind to type about but pressed for time. And certainly not true how long will I remember to watch the watcher!
